Comprehensive Electrical for Mechanical and Controls Installation for Multi-Storey Health Facility

As part of Christchurch’s post-earthquake city rebuild, IES delivered the full Electrical for Mechanical and controls installation for the six-storey Health Research and Education Facility. Our scope included power reticulation, MSSB integration, VRF air-conditioning systems, ventilation plant, and heat-recovery units with CO₂-based demand control. Delivered in a multi-tenanted, staged programme, the project demonstrates IES’s capability in complex multi-storey E4M installations requiring resilience, compliance, and close coordination in a constrained rebuild environment.
